Transgenic mouse models core facilityNTUCM CLSMB Prof. Shu-Wha Lin

Disruption of gene functions in the mouse can be achieved by nuclease-based and embryonic stem cell-based technologies. Transgenic Mouse Models Core (TMMC) facility have well experienced and skillful technology since 2005. The main objective of TMMC is to provide services to generate gene knockout (KO) / knock-in (KI) mice for the following purposes: (1) human disease modelling, (2) drug development and drug efficacy evaluation, and (3) in vivo gene function study.

TMMC aims to setup a 『One-stop customized service』, which provides a complete, sophisticated, and customer-oriented『from DNA to mice』solution, using both nuclease-based and embryonic stem cell-based technologies for generating KO/KI and conditional KO mice. The TMMC is competitive with reasonable service fees and great attitudes. We help our users to get their mice the easiest and fastest way.

TMMC facility attracted users including domestic and internationally renowned investigators, and thus earned its international visibility and reputation. We keep updating our technical services to further improve our efficiencies in generating germline-transmitted KO/KI mouse lines, and in indel-KO/point mutation KI-mice by CRISPR/Cas9 technology. Please feel free to contact TMMC staff for details.
