Our core is located at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University and has been established for over two decades. We have continuously introduced cutting-edge analytical technologies, such as high-throughput sequencing, microarrays, next-generation sequencing, single-cell sequencing, and spatial sequencing. Our team of skilled technicians, with an average experience of over ten years, provides a wide range of genomic analysis services and technical consultations to various institutions across the nation, covering upstream, midstream, and downstream applications.

Additionally, our proficient bioinformatics team possesses system development capabilities and actively promotes the industrial application of these technologies. The talents nurtured within our core have spread across relevant domestic academic research units and the biotechnology industry, playing a crucial role in the advancement of genomic studies in Taiwan.

As precision medicine continues to mature due to technological advancements, cost reductions, the establishment of relevant regulatory certifications, and increased public awareness of genetic testing, our core not only continues to provide advanced technical services but also focuses on developing scenario-based analyses. By collecting comprehensive data attributes (including gene sequences, spatial information, types, and physiological data) for all analysis units (cells, specimens, or patients) and storing them in a scenario database, we aim to replace time-consuming and expensive experimental trial-and-error processes with various analytical models. This approach allows researchers to obtain answers to their inquiries promptly, significantly accelerating research timelines and reducing costs, thus facilitating innovative mass production applications from the outset.

The modules and knowledge encapsulation technologies developed by our core serve as vehicles for knowledge transfer and commercial applications, forming a rapid technology transfer platform. Through core-derived companies and collaborative enterprises, we assist in the cost-effective productization of genomic applications derived from academic research, ensuring their swift introduction to the market. This influx of innovative applications will energize the genomic application market, stimulating the overall industry development and establishing Taiwan as the Silicon Valley of genomics.
