The Synchrotron Radiation Protein Crystallography Core FacilityNSRRC. Chun-Hsiang Huang Ph. D.

The core technique of Synchrotron Radiation Protein Crystallography Facility (SPXF) is protein crystallography which can determine the 3-D molecular structures of biological macromolecules from their single crystals. Synchrotron radiation protein crystallography is the most rapid and successful structure determination method in the world currently and is the unique technique provided by SPXF that is not available elsewhere in Taiwan. The long-term objective of this facility is to provide a world-class user facility in structural biology, including a full complement of instrumentation, software, and experimental support for high-throughput data collection, processing, and structure determination.
